The WorldBank Online Databases

World Bank offers multiple databases online, some free of charge and some on an annual subscription basis.

Data Query offers free access to a 5-year, 54-indicators segment of the World Development Indicators (WDI) database.

WDI Online: You can subscribe to World Development Indicators Online and have direct access to more than 550 development indicators, with time series for 207 countries and 18 country groups from 1960 to 2000, where data are available.

GDF Online: You can subscribe to Global Development Finance Online and get access to statistical data for the 136 countries that report public and publicly-guaranteed debt to the World Bank Debtor Reporting System. These data run from 1970 to 2000, where available.
